Raw paper for paper drinking straws need 2 kinds.
60gsm and 120gsm. It's the thickness for paper.
Food grade, white craft paper.
Paper Straw has 3 layers, Inner, Middle, Out surface: 120gsm, 120gsm, 60gsm.
If you want colorful paper straws, only out surface paper need print.
Different paper supplier, will supply diifferent size of paper roll for you.
For better cooperation with paper slitting machine and paper printing machine, we suggest you:
Size of paper roll:
Width： 600mm, or 450mm
Diameter： 950mm
Core diameter of paper roll: 76mm, 3 inches.
For example (not very correct)
Like 60gsm paper roll, 600mm width, 950mm diameter, the unit weight is about 330kg, 9000 meter length.
Like 120gsm paper roll, 600mm width, 950mm diameter, the unit weight is about 320kg, 4500 meter length.
Firstly, you need take with your paper supplier abouth the size of paper roll that they could give to you.
